THE EARTH PLAYS A PRANK ON THE LAND

Warrior was first opened in 2008 and while many of my tributes are usually created quickly due to my habit of not leaving things unfinished, it took over three months for this tribute to come to frutation. I had to literally watch all three season to get a decent grasp of who Sam Winchester is and even as I write this, I still feel like I don't have a clear grasp.

The last series that I first started watching that got my attention enough for me to keep watching was none other than Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and after the series finale I felt that there would be no series that could match up with it. That is - until I watched the episode Asylum for this series. I wasn't convinced at first that it was really anything worth watching since I was just randomly channel surfing. However as I catched each episode I was hooked. Sam and Dean instantly caught my attention as two amazing characters that balance each other perfectly. To see their struggles, successes and failures really made me want to watch more, so I did.

In all honesty both Sam and Dean tend to sway as my favorite character. I can never choose which one will be at the top and it changes constantly. However when it came down to making a tribute, I decided to go with Sam as I felt that he was the first of the brothers that I became hooked too.

What makes Sam so appealing is the fact that he cane be such a down to Earth guy. His huge heart and personality really told me that if I where to fall for any guy, it would have to be a guy like him. He's like Luke Sywalker and we see him grow and change as the series continues. In a way I find it hard to explain why I like him because there's just so much to him that I love.

The name for this site is simple - Sam is a warrior. He's fighting a battle against a demon that not only took his most precious thing away from him, but continues to ruin lives as he saves others. He's constantly on the frontlines and armed to insure that nothing will happen to his remaining family. The title for this version actually comes from a song entitled, Wild Drive, with lyrics from the song scattered throughout the site.

The layout is version one and the theme is "Unstoppable Wild Drive". It features a promotion picture of Sam in the infamous Impala, holding a weapon. There's no real story except that since this is the debuting layout for the tribute, why not use a promotion picture?
